Ecopia AI Recognized as a Leader in the Canadian Tech Industry

January 30, 2024 – Ecopia AI has once again been named to Communitech’s Team True North, a list of 65 Canadian tech companies on track to reach $1B in revenue by 2030.

January 30, 2024 – Toronto – Today, Ecopia AI (Ecopia) announces that the company has once again been named to Communitech’s Team True North, a list of 65 Canadian tech companies demonstrating high growth, innovation, and a clear path to reaching $1B in revenue by 2030.

Established in 2022, Team True North is modeled on Canada’s Own the Podium Program for Olympic athletes. Members of Team True North are provided with enhanced access to top tech talent as well as increased sales and networking opportunities to help drive further growth. To be eligible for Team True North, companies must be Canadian-controlled and privately-held with annual revenue and year-over-year revenue growth that falls within one of the following ranges:

  • Minimum of $20 million in annual revenue and 60 percent year-over-year growth.
  • Minimum of $40 million in annual revenue and 40 percent year-over-year growth.
  • Minimum of $80 million in annual revenue and 20 percent year-over-year growth.
  • Minimum of $100 million in annual revenue and 15 percent year-over-year growth.

Part of the inaugural Team True North in 2022, Ecopia has once again been named to the prestigious list due to the company’s rapid growth around the world. Since its original recognition, Ecopia has launched 3D land cover mapping initiatives in Canada, the United States, Australia, Ireland, and Italy. To date, Ecopia has mapped in more than 100 countries across the globe, providing high-precision geospatial data at scale for strategic decision-making in climate resilience, public safety, community equity, and more.
