Ecopia AI Receives Innovation in Mapping Content Award at GeoBuiz Summit

June 03, 2022 -- Ecopia announced today that it was unanimously selected as the winner of the Innovation in Mapping Content award at this year’s GeoBuiz Summit Awards.

Toronto -- June 03, 2022 - - Ecopia AI (“Ecopia”) announced today that it was unanimously selected as the winner of the Innovation in Mapping Content award at this year’s GeoBuiz Summit Awards. The award was presented at the summit in Monterey Bay, California and recognizes the innovation of Ecopia’s AI-based mapping technology. ‍

The jury highlighted Ecopia’s ability to create and maintain highly-accurate large-scale geospatial map content including its 3D Nationwide Land Cover and Building-Based Geocoding products which are leveraged across industries including government and insurance, and also noted Ecopia’s efforts in creating the first comprehensive digital map of sub-Saharan Africa for humanitarian and sustainability applications. 

To celebrate innovations in the field, the GeoBuiz Summit Awards distinguishes companies that are pushing the boundaries of geospatial data and mapping. Ecopia’s recognition at the Summit spotlights its position as a global leader in leveraging AI to create high-precision maps at-scale.
